Finding your way in
Park under the carport
Pull into the driveway and park under the carport. Two spots are reserved just for you.
Through the louvred gate
Head to the black louvred gate on the left side of the house. Push down on the handle to open it.
Down the side path
Walk straight down the side path, past the storage cupboards. The studio entrance is at the very end on the left, just past the grass courtyard.
Let yourself in
The studio door is push-to-open, so you can check yourself straight in. No keys, no codes, no waiting.
Just off the courtyard, a private gate opens straight onto Merrylands Park. Lift the latch from the inside and it's yours to come and go as you please.
Where you'll sleep
The Robertson sleeps up to four. The bedroom holds a comfortable queen, with a fold-out sofa bed in the main room for any extra guests.
A full wall of built-in wardrobes, plus a storage bench at the foot of the bed, gives you plenty of space to hang clothes and settle in properly.
The sofa bed
In the main room, the sofa folds out to a comfortable double, ready whenever you have extra guests staying over.
Lift the front edge and pull it toward you, and it unfolds flat into a bed. To pack it away, simply fold it back the same way.
Extra pillows and a throw sit on the shelf above the cabinets, ready whenever you need them.
The pool is yours
Dive in, float, or just sit back and watch the colours change. The pool is yours to enjoy throughout your stay.
Pick up either of the two remotes by the pool. Touch the colour wheel to set the colour you like, and use the surrounding buttons to adjust the brightness and switch between the lighting effects and transitions.
Would you like the waterfall or water jets running? Send a quick message and we'll switch them on for you, usually within a few minutes.
- Please keep an eye on children around the water at all times.
- No diving, please.
- Glassware away from the pool, to keep bare feet safe.
- Swim at your own risk, and enjoy.
The steam room
To fire up the steam room, press the power button on the wall controller, then give it five to ten minutes to warm through. Step in once it's ready and let the day melt away.
Keep sessions short, stay hydrated, and step out any time you feel light-headed.
Bedroom fan & light
The wall remote in the bedroom runs the ceiling fan and its light. The circled button turns the light on and off, and the numbered dial sets the fan speed, from a gentle breeze to full.
Lights, sound & a film
The soundbar is already connected, so simply switch on the TV and you're set, with room-filling sound from the off.
The buttons on the back of the TV control the backlight. Cycle through the colours, or switch to disco or music-sync mode for colour that moves in time with your film or playlist.
Fresh towels are set out for you in the bathroom, ready for the pool, the steam room or a long hot shower.
Keeping it lovely
A few simple things keep The Robertson a calm, welcoming space, for you and for the neighbours just beyond the fence.
Quiet from 10 pm
We're on a quiet residential street with neighbours close by. Please wind music and noise down after 10 pm.
A non-smoking home
The Robertson is completely smoke-free, both inside and out across the whole space.
Just your booked guests
Please keep to the number of guests on your booking. No parties or events, in line with Airbnb's policy.
Treat it as your own
Look after the space the way you would your own home, and let us know straight away if anything needs attention.
When you head off, pop any used towels in the bathroom and pull the door closed behind you. That's all, leave the rest to us.
